Check out this cool envelope! I love funky things like this! Click to see any of them better.. very cool!

Now, IF Andrea had known, she COULD have made this much better.. with the word HOPE all over the back. I helped her out a bit here… The third envelope is my enhanced version!

Great Envelope, Andrea! You made my day! Wendy

Wendy, I would have never thought to do what I did today, if not for you. I made a homemade BD card for my brother Bill–about 5 folded-over cardstock 4×6″ cards with photos on every page–but my piece de resistance is the envelope. I have covered with it photographs of Bill taken at different times in his life (I just make paper copies, not with photo paper, because it glues on better)–also made a BD card for a niece whose BD is in July too and I put a photograph/on paper photo of her dad on his 14th or 15th bd on the back of the envelope. I enclosed a bunch of pictures of her with her dad but printed those all on photo paper (she & her sister did not grow up with their father) -
I know she is going to love it. My efforts are amatuerish, artsy-crafty stuff is not my forte (give me a stove in the kitchen anyday) but I have really pushed myself putting these together.
But nothing compares to your BD card last year!! :)
    love
    Sandy

I am commenting because i couldn’t find an email option. My nephew who is eleven and special needs has recently been given a class project. which is to get as many post cards from as many different states and countries. I found this site while hunting on line and I am asking if you could spread the word help me help him as it were. His name is Jacob Jones his address is 431 Fairlane Dekalb, Il 60115. Jacob and I would appreciate any help you can offer. Thanks in advance.
