Tiny tomatoes...better than NO tomatoes. We didnt have a garden this year (hoping maybe next year) - and I am disappointed that I haven't been able to can tomatoes.

Love your blog, Wendy. I dont think I have ever seen a picture of Terry any where else.

If we get back to growing tomatoes, maybe I will post some recipes on my blog. or did I already do that?

Wendy, I would have never thought to do what I did today, if not for you. I made a homemade BD card for my brother Bill--about 5 folded-over cardstock 4x6" cards with photos on every page--but my piece de resistance is the envelope. I have covered with it photographs of Bill taken at different times in his life (I just make paper copies, not with photo paper, because it glues on better)--also made a BD card for a niece whose BD is in July too and I put a photograph/on paper photo of her dad on his 14th or 15th bd on the back of the envelope. I enclosed a bunch of pictures of her with her dad but printed those all on photo paper (she & her sister did not grow up with their father) -
I know she is going to love it. My efforts are amatuerish, artsy-crafty stuff is not my forte (give me a stove in the kitchen anyday) but I have really pushed myself putting these together.
But nothing compares to your BD card last year!! :)
love

I know this was an old post from February (about the deer) but wanted to tell you, Sharon took some up-close-and-personal photographs of deer in a front yard at Shelter Cove, last year. There were several of them grazing in someone's front yard & we stopped & she began photographing them. One stared straight at us; they showed no fear of us at all. It was amazing. I will have to dig out the photographs to email to you, Wendy.
Love,
Sandy
